Do 2022 Right is a New Years Resolution tracker that can not only give you words of encouragement, but also keep you informed about how much time you have left to complete your resolutions! The application features a live progress bar, various encouraging messages, and the perfect checklist for keeping track of those pesky New Year's Resolutions!

This was a very very small project for me, one which I made start-to-finish in just a couple of hours during a road trip while cooped up in the car. Despite the simplicity of this project, it was one of my first steps into a rounder design language, and it served as a great way to integrate new skills into the app development process. For instance, this way my first time making a progress bar in an iOS app, which I have since found regular uses for.

Privacy Policy

Do 2022 Right is a super simple app which allows you to keep track of your New Years Resolutions / Goals for the Year. On initial launch the app asks the user for their name and a list of goals, which it stores entirely on the user's device and never shares that data to the developer or any third party to ensure total privacy when using the application. This does beg the question, why ask the user for a name in the first place, and the answer to that is because I wanted to make the app more personable so as to help better encourage the user to actually complete their goals, which famously people often give up on before January is even over. I hope to add more inspiring and encouraging messages to the footer of the app in the future, as currently there is only one. Having a name would make this encouragement a bit easier and more personably, and to restate this data never leaves the user's device so as to ensure their privacy.
